Festival of Nature

The UK’s largest FREE celebration of the natural world, the Bristol Festival of Nature gives wildlife enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to explore, enjoy and get close to the natural world in the heart of the city!

For the ninth year running, the Festival of Nature will take over Bristol Harbourside for a weekend of wild fun, with their festival schools’ day for Key Stage 2 pupils taking place on the 15th June, before they open to all on the 16th and 17th June 2012.

Interested in being a part of the Bristol Festival of Nature? The Festival brings together over 200 national and local organisations every year – if you are a local or national charity, a community group, or other organisation with an environmental or conservation focus, then why not register for a stall in the Green Forum? Or if you are a trader specialising in local, organic or sustainable goods or produce, then the Green Market might be for you.

The Festival could not happen without lots of brilliant volunteers. Go to the volunteer pages for information about getting involved this year.

Full details of the exciting programme of activities, workshops, talks and entertainment at the 2012 Festival can be found via the ‘What’s On’ page.
